Mission Statement:

The mission of the Department of Theatre at East Central College is to provide students with academic training and practical experience in a nurturing yet challenging educational environment along with serving as a cultural touchstone for the surrounding community.

 

The Department is committed to a challenging production season to provide students with exceptional preparation to transfer to a four year institution or to pursue a career in theatre.

ECC Theatre produces 4-6 fully staged shows per year and offers a wide variety of theatre and general education classes designed for both the major and non-major with performance showcase opportunities. We also offer generous tuition scholarships to all ECC students.
