She Kills Monsters

ECC Theatre is so proud to be bringing in STL Fight Choreographer Erik Kuhn to create and rehearse the stage combat for She Kills Monsters.
​
Erik, an SAFD Certified Fight Master, will provide invaluable training and expertise in stage combat movement techniques, helping students to hone their skills and create realistic fight scenes that are both safe and visually dynamic.
​
This experience will provide these actors with an immersive and intensive learning experience that they will carry with them throughout their theatrical careers, as well as create an incredible audience experience!

She Kills Monsters is set in the fantasy realm of Dungeons & Dragons, which means each character has a unique weapon (not normally found in our prop storage!) that will need to be rented for the rehearsal and production process.

Here at ECC Theatre, we strive to provide the most professional experience possible- and our scenic build and design is no exception!
This year’s shows require some incredible building- and we need your help to make them happen! Sets are designed by creative team members and built by students under the supervision of technical director Mike Pecka.
The costs of lumber have rapidly increased this year- but with your help we can continue to give our students and performers safe, well built and beautiful scenic pieces . $95 will pay for a small order of lumber that will be used in our entire season!

Over the past 15 years, Christopher Page-Sanders has choreographed all of our academic year musicals- from Les Mis to Spongegbob! Based in NYC, Chris is the Artistic Director of Nu-World Danse Company and travels the world choreographing for some of the biggest names out there.
Each December, he returns to ECC Theatre and works with our performers for 2 weeks choreographing the entire show.
Your sponsorship will allow us to bring Chris back for another season to continue the tradition of excellence he has established and give our actors another chance to learn from this world class talent.
